Are You Self Represented?

In arbitration, parties are generally not required to have a lawyer represent them (unless specific state laws say otherwise). Many individuals and small business owners choose to handle arbitration on their own. Because arbitration is a final and binding process that can affect your legal rights, it’s wise to consult with an attorney before deciding to represent yourself. If you choose to proceed without a lawyer, ADRGlobal offers clear guidance, user‑friendly procedures, and accessible resources to help you navigate the process with confidence.

Specialized Services

  • List Only & List with Appointment: With ADR Global’s List Only service, parties receive a curated list of qualified, vetted arbitrators tailored to the nature of their dispute. This option is limited to providing the list, giving parties full control over the selection process. With List and Appointment, ADR Global not only provides a tailored list but also manages the selection and appointment process. This includes coordinating party rankings, extending invitations to serve, conducting conflict checks, and confirming the arbitrator’s appointment—ensuring a smooth, efficient, and impartial start to the arbitration.
  • Deposits for Non‑Administered Cases: For matters not administered by ADR Global, a deposit is required to reserve ADR Global hearing rooms, engage ADR Global neutrals, or access other support services. This deposit ensures timely payment for facilities, scheduling, and administrative assistance in cases handled outside of full ADR Global administration.
