Videoconferencing (Virtual ADR)
What is Virtual ADR?
Virtual ADR is a secure, digital conferencing solution that enables parties to participate in hearings, conferences, and settlement discussions remotely and conveniently. ADR Global has been a forerunner in the integration of technology and virtual case‑conferencing capabilities. For more than 25 years, we have conducted hearings and conferences through advanced videoconferencing systems, giving us deep expertise in managing virtual proceedings with precision, reliability, and professionalism.
Security is a top priority at ADR Global. We employ multiple layers of protection to safeguard confidential information and ensure the integrity of every virtual session. Throughout our decades of providing remote services, we have never experienced a security breach or compromise involving any virtual hearing or conference.
Recognizing the diverse needs of our clients, ADR Global offers multiple video conferencing platforms to ensure accessibility, flexibility, and ease of use. Our experienced neutrals and case managers are fully equipped to support virtual proceedings across a wide range of legal and commercial practice areas, providing seamless administration and high‑quality dispute‑resolution services wherever the parties may be located.
ADR Global now offers Zoom secure and user‑friendly platform for mediations and arbitrations: This options ensure that every participant can join proceedings with ease, regardless of location or technical preference.
ADR Global’s enhanced Zoom video conferencing technology has been successfully and repeatedly used for mediations and arbitrations for more than 15 years, without a single incident. Zoom is our preferred platform due to its reliability, ease of use, and its ability to provide secure breakout and caucus rooms that closely replicate the privacy of in‑person hearings. For all ADR Global virtual hearings and conferences conducted through Zoom, all audio, video, and screen‑sharing data are encrypted. Our Zoom environment is configured with specialized security settings that differ significantly from standard commercial Zoom accounts. These customized configurations ensure that Zoom does not have access to transmitted information. In addition, ADR Global never uses the generic public Zoom link (https://zoom.us). Instead, we operate through a private, branded URL that is not accessible to the public, adding an additional layer of protection. ADR Global’s customized Zoom platform is also HIPAA compliant, meeting or exceeding the privacy and security requirements established under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Our system includes specific safeguards designed to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of protected health information (PHI), ensuring that sensitive matters are handled with the highest level of security and professionalism. Password protection and dual‑layer authentication protocols ensure that only authorized participants are able to enter ADR Global’s virtual hearings and conferences. These safeguards protect both access and data integrity throughout every session. To further enhance security, ADR Global vests full administrative control in the Neutral, including authority over screen‑sharing permissions, participant admission, removal of attendees, meeting locks, and session termination. This structure ensures that all proceedings remain secure, confidential, and professionally managed from start to finish. The configuration of settings includes the following:
